globook

The globook is my open source alternative to the usual flash flip book and was created to help you build a 3d book containing images (vector, bitmap, swf, etc.) or text.

The ‘book’ is represented as a series of pages that can be turned using the mouse. No GUI is provided to keep things simple.
The content of the pages is controlled by a single text file (called globook_data.txt) containing the commands in JSON format.

All items (images, rectangles, gradient fills and so on) that can appear in the pages of the book are represented by a json object that determines its characteristics.

If you want to use the globook you can download the latest version from here.

You can use the menu on the right for more information on the syntax of the data file and to see some examples.

If you want to contribute to the project on github you are welcome!
